Single-image analysis

Post-processing of a single physical image: extracting contours of a plume or a phase boundary and smoothing them.

Contour smoothing

ContourSmoother()	Base interface: call with an OpenCV contour and return an OpenCV contour.
ContourSmootherSequence(steps)	Apply multiple smoothers in sequence.
GaussianSmoother([sigma, window, closed])	Gaussian smoothing on x and y independently using a Gaussian kernel.
MovingAverageSmoother([window, closed])	Simple moving average on x and y independently.
PolyDPSmoother([epsilon, closed, use_ratio])	OpenCV polygon approximation:
